An elegant Regency mahogany and boxwood lined work or wine table with a cruciform top and three drawers with turned bone handles, above a pull out slide. These are matched by faux drawers to the back, all supported on lyre supports with brass strings, united by a scrolling carved stretcher, supported on scrolled splayed legs with their original brass paw feet and castors.

An early Victorian parcel-gilt mirror with amboyna. This mirror is very much in the French taste, with applied foliate gilt gesso decoration, applied over the fine amboyna veneer, which is bordered by ebonised details. This frame encloses the original silver mirror plate, which is somewhat distressed and could be replaced if desired.

A fine and very large pair of grogged terracotta rinceaux panels. Originally installed on the facade of a palazzo in Florence, the panels are Renaissance in style, with a spiralling design of scrolling leaves, cornucopia and mythical beasts. The motif is centred by two tritonesses with entwined tails.
Designs such as these can be seen on many of the great Renaissance buildings, and indeed inside them. One particularly fine example was carved for Ascanio Sforza's tomb at Santa Maria del Popolo, in Rome and a cast of this can be found in the Victoria and Albert Museum. This style of low relief carving was popularised after the discovery of the Ara Pacis in Rome in 1568. This great altar was erected in Rome between 14 and 9 B.C.

An Antique cast iron Georgian style fire grate by Thomas Elsley. The rounded pedimented back is cast with a scrolling top and floral garland, and this is mounted over the three bar grate, supported by the brass spandrels and tapered andirons with more floral garlands and urnular finials.

A very fine and large giltwood Venetian wall mirror. The frame is surmounted by a floral crest above an oval mirror plate etched with an urn of flowers, and this is supported by foliate scrolls and mirrored spandrels, which are engraved with bunches of grapes. The foliate scrollwork continues around the frame and this encloses eight exquisite marginal plates, each engraved with a slightly different subject, some with a musical theme. The corners are embellished with ruby glass behind an acanthus leaf, and this surrounds the original mercury plate. A very fine and rare mirror.

A rare and beautifully engraved set of fifteen prints from the 'Fasti di Napoleone', or Glories of Napoleon, a cycle of frescoes designed and executed by Appiani in the Sala delle Cariatidi in Royal Palace of Milan between 1807-1816. This celebrated set of frescoes no longer survives after being lost to bombing in WW2, but Appiani supervised Giuseppe Longhi's creation of these engravings, so his cycle survives in this carefully rendered set of prints.
