Cast from bronze, these glamorous torchere wall lights were manufactured in England c.1930. They encompass the elegance of the Art deco period with a nod to Palladian Classicism. These would work perfectly in both a contemporary and traditional interior.

Provenance is always a bonus with antiques, and this chandelier has a dazzling past. It was installed in the Knightsbridge Palace Hotel in 1911. One of a set of five, these chandeliers would have illuminated the opulent Art Nouveau foyer to welcome guests. Sadly this hotel has been redeveloped into a sprawling contemporary complex, so this interior is now lost forever…
