An attractive Edwardian cast iron, steel and brass mounted firegrate in the George III style, made by Thomas Elsley of London. The three bar bow fronted grate, with rocaille cast brass spandrels, a pair of small brass finials and a pierced brass serpentine apron with incised foliate and zoomorphic motifs, is supported by a pair of charming columned legs topped by globe finials.
