A handsome 19th century French Louis XVI style carved Carrara Marble fireplace. The simple panelled frieze centred by a diamond shaped panel is flanked by a pair of square endblocks supported on substantial, scrolled console jambs with acanthus detail, terminating in large lion paws on moulded footblocks.
