A small, lightly veined, Carrara Marble antique fireplace surround in the Louis XVI manner. The breakfront shelf rests above a panelled frieze flanked by well carved floral paterae on the endblocks. The tapering part fluted jambs are topped by shell and panel detail. French, circa 1870.
