A very fine three door Victorian, ebonized, ormolu and inlaid Credenza. The three doors, two of which are glazed are separated by turned, carved, gilded and ebonised columns, supporting a delicately inlaid frieze with ormolu detail. The central door is finely and profusely inlaid in the italianate manner with Amboyna and Box on a Harewood ground surrounded by Acanthus ormolu panel mouldings and Amboyna fielding, which is echoed on the glazed doors. The lower frieze with further inlay is supported on short turned and ebonised legs. The polished Mahogany interior is fitted with shelves finished with Harewood and Box edging.
