Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Arts & Crafts antique fireplaces of the late 19th early 20th century were greatly influenced by the innovative and highly decorative designs which grew out of the European wide art movements of the time. Art Nouveau design, inspired by natural forms and structures, was totally fresh and new and was completely uninfluenced by earlier styles. Art Deco design,  an eclectic style that combined both traditional and modern motifs, was characterised by rich colour and bold geometric shapes and extravagant ornamentation. The Arts & Crafts Movement, which began in Britain, incorporated traditional craftsmanship using simple forms, and often used medieval, romantic, or folk styles of decoration.

Our collection of Antique Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Arts & Crafts fireplaces in marble, wood, metal and ceramic would bring fresh design to both period and modern room.
