Antique Louis XVI Marble Regency fireplace with carved floral Cartouche This large figured Marble Regency Chimneypiece has a breakfronted shelf with a simple frieze. The central floral Cartouche is highly carved and is flanked by floral Paterae carved into the endblocks. The substantial jambs are adorned with Acanthus leaf detail with scrolled consoles. French 19th century.
