A very fine chimneypiece with a striking simplicity of form, reminiscent of the work of Sir John Soane.Carved from dramatic dove grey Bardiglio Fiorito marble, the wide stepped shelf rests on two monumental jambs, which flank a large opening. One of the most striking chimneypieces we have come across!
