A FINELY CARVED LOUIS XVI CHIMNEYPIECE IN BIANCO WHITE MARBLE, the straight moulded shelf over the panelled frieze centred by high relief carved olive branch and laurel wreath detail symbolising Victory and Peace, flanked by square floral Paterae endblocks, supported on scrolled, Acanthus leaf carved, fluted console jambs. French mid 19th century.
