A large and unusually tall, Louis XV Rococo fireplace, in a softly mottled rosso Verona marble. The serpentine shelf rests over the paneled frieze, centred by a scallop shell cartouche. This is echoed by two further scallop shells on the endblocks, supported by scrolled and paneled consol jambs.
French or Belgian, circa 1890.
