A finely carved antique Regency Chimneypiece in statuary marble. The delicately carved shelf sits over the central plaque carved with hop vines. The plaque is flanked by Greek revival side panels, ornately adorned with palmette motif and hop decorated end blocks. Supported on elegant and substantial Doric columns. Irish, early 19th century.
