9339. A SUPERB PERIOD VENETIAN BAROQUE CHIMNEYPIECE in richly veined and figured... otherwise clear white Pavonazo marble. The breakfront serpentine shelf over the matching concave frieze which is centred by a delightfully intricate deep floral Venetian cartouche flanked by scrolling on the lintel,all supported on deeply panelled jambs with scrolled side buttresses on tiered block plinths. Known provenance .Italian circa 1700.SCALE : Large and Low.
