BELLE CHEMINEE DE L'EPOQUE 18eme, D'UN MANOIR A LA CAMPAGNE FRANCAISE: A Period oak fireplace mantel in the early Louis XV Rococo manner. The serpentine shelf supported on a panelled frieze centred by a finely carved high relief floral scrolled shell Cartouche, with further floral decoration carved from the solid on the prominently scrolled console jambs. Quite rare, tall, of good proportions with restorations. From a substantial country property, petite Chateau ou Manoir. French, early 18th century.
