The substantial breakfronted white Statuary marble shelf over a barrel frieze in Verde Antico inlaid with a Statuary and Sienna marble Guilloche pattern centred and flanked by three high relief carved Roman Lion masks, again in Sienna marble ...supported on massive " C " scrolled brackets descending to strapwork with stylised Palmette decorated jambs. Italian, late 19th century.
