Stock No: 13018

A tall Wealden style fire back bearing the Royal arms of England between c.1400 to 1603. The supporters are a greyhound and a lion. The lion is a very early supporter. The greyhound first appears under Henry VII (succeeded 1485) and continued to be used until the death of Elizabeth (1603) which places the arms somewhere between 1485 and 1603.

Heraldic information obtained from Richard d'Apice, VP of The Australian Heraldry Society.
