A substantial French Rococo Chimneypiece carved in Carrara marble in the LouisXIV manner, with a scallop shell cartouche on centre of frieze flanked by Acanthus branches, low relief repeating floral pattern on the frieze panels further Acanthus leaves over the canted generously scrolled cabriole legs.Mid 19th century.
