A substantial late 19th century English Arts and Crafts tiled register grate with integral firebasket. The unusualy large tiles made by Minton are of high quality in design as well as manufacture, the motif being a stylised geometric floral pattern in the Gothic Revival manner. The cast iron firebasket is of matching quality, with vertical spindle bars with round and conical finials either side and below , the whole surmounted by bronze tipped Campana urns.
