A Louis XVI antique fireplace in Belgian black marble, the simply moulded shelf over a plain frieze flanked by pyramid centered panel endblcokings supported on scrolled and reeded console jambs with stylised large floral fern decoration attractively carved on the front , terminating in lion paw feet. French, mid 19th century. A very near pair to 11077.
