A SUBSTANTIAL IMPRESSIVE ITALIAN PALAZZO CHIMNEYPIECE IN THE RENAISSANCE MANNER very well and richly carved in high relief in Statuary marble. The frieze of this grand fireplace mantel centred with a Cameo Noblemans profile flanked by Griffins and scrolling foliate decoration, the jambs with panels of urns, fruit & vines and carved capitals.
