ITALIAN RENAISSANCE :An exquisitely carved Statuary marble Italian Renaissance mantle, the breakfront shelf with egg & dart carving above a frieze centered by a stemma nobilare decorated cartouche flanked by winged griffins and foliate carving, the later endblocks carved with floral urns, the jambs with carved pilasters on moulded footblocks carved with patera.
Circa 1680.
