10471. A rare burnished oval Regency polished urn shaped firegrate in the Greek Revival manner of Thomas Hope , with large looped side handles , swag decoration terminating in Rams heads either side , on a circular egg and dart base standing on a square plinth on a lower base which contains the ashpan and the front of which has a sliding ventilation control.English early 19th century.
