10330 : A very large Baroque Fireback , the decoration of a Bachic putti centering two Dolphins surmounting an arched frame with egg & dart edging containing a Lion mask over pomegranates and grapes signifying Strength and Plenty..around yet another frame with a tableau yet to be deciphered. From a 17th century Flemish original ,this one 19th century.Provenance : Annexe Dorchester Hotel , Park Lane , London.
