A fine quality burnished steel and brass fender of serpentine form in the Rococo manner , the central heraldic high relief plaque featuring Cherubim supporting either side of the Armorial cast brass coat of arms with plumed Knights helmet over a shield cartouche adorned with fruiting vine as are the integral Fire Iron rests, all supported upon scrolled brass feet. English early 19th century.
