9363. A MATCHING PAIR OF oval Portrait Plaques of MOZART and HAYDN. The low relief profiles of the 18c Classical Austrian Composers Amadeus MOZART and Joseph HAYDN, in gilt and patinated cast iron ,both contained in frames seperate to the plaques, in the Rococo manner.
Stamped: Gesetzlich Geschuzt (patented) Lauchhammer, crossed hammers with crown , and serial numbers. Lauchammer , a German art and bell foundry near Dresden since 1725 .German circa 1880.
