9118. A large cast bronze Spread Eagle wall plaque, with three Ducal coronets on the breast and wings. Since the early 18c when the signs of a Spread Eagle and Three crowns hung over adjoining premises in Lombard Street this became the emblem of Barclays Bank in the City of London.
