A French Neo Renaissance overmantel mirror Black Lacqered, Giltwood and gesso with the original wide-bevelled mirror plate....the decoration of broken arched pediment centered by an urn with Putti masks flanked by turned balusters , a central winged Putti mask ...stylised Lion masks either side.., Image before restoration inc in price. On the back is the trade label of the maker : L. Clerot , 3 rue des Carmes , Rouen... See last image. French circa 1860.
