A charismatic large boldly carved antique oak mirror in the Renaissance Baroque manner, the arched plate glass within a high relief carved frame.This antique Hunting Lodge mirror with a Robin Hood lookalike bearded huntsman's mask at the apex, his collar of oak leaves and acorns flanked by scrolled foliage, fretwork and generous C scrolls.. each side descending and carved with Spaniel dog's heads, similar to the Irish Water Spaniels on chimneypiece 9180, below a brace of hung gamebirds within a carved cartouche and repeatedly scrolled strapwork borders.Italian 19th century.
