A very interesting and impressive pair of marble thrones in the Etruscan manner with typical Etruscan stylised lion heads on the arms and two 'stemma nobilare' (coat of arms), one featuring a lions head very similar to that of a 5th century BC bronze, in the Hermitage Museum, St. Petersburg, and the other depicting double headed birds of prey, possibly phoenix.Italian, 18th century.
