11056. A NEO GOTHIC COUNTRY HOUSE DINNER GONG. The large frame with well carved floral / leaf detail and the gong on hammered brass suspended from the top crossbar of the frame, with the original padded striker. English , mid 19th century. WORTHY OF GOSFORD PARK.

COMMENT : If played sensitively ...produces a soothing, echoing ...even therapeutic sound...best heard at the end of a yoga session or other contemplative activity ...or ...just before dinner...!
