A LOUIS XV CHEMINEE IN THE ROCOCO MANNER, the fine high relief carving in white statuary marble. The serpentine shelf is supported on the similarly contoured frieze which is centered by a rich florally carved central cartouche, which is complemented by flanking, also high relief carved, end capitals to the supporting angled scrolled cabriole jambs.Has been cleaned,awaits repolishing. French, 19th century.
