AN UNUSUALLY LARGE LOUIS XV CHIMNEYPIECE in Rouge De Rance red and white figured marble. The wide sepentine shelf sits on the shaped frieze which is centred by a shell cartouche, flanked by scrolled endblocks descending on shaped and panelled jambs. French early 19th century.
