ONE OF AN IDENTICAL PAIR OF VERY WELL CARVED SCOTTISH ROCOCO CHIMNEYPIECES : The white Statuary marble serpentine shelf supported over the frieze which is centered by a rich high relief carved floral shell Cartouche flanked by grand outward angled " C " scrolled console jambs descending to a leaf bedecked base also scrolled. Scottish late 19th century.
