9902. A VERY SUBSTANTIAL IMPRESSIVE ITALIAN CHIMNEYPIECE IN THE RENAISSANCE MANNER very well and richly carved in high relief in Statuary marble. The frieze with a central Cameo Noblemans profile flanked by Griffins and scrolling foliate decoration, the jambs with panels of urns, fruit & vines and carved capitals.
