9763. A carved oak chimneypiece with a foliate carved
ogee moulded cornice above deep lunette carved frieze, two
recessed arcaded panels gouged with foliate S-scrolls flanked
by atlantes with a caryatid to the centre & a band of daisy
wheels linked in a guilloche chain above an overmantel shelf.
The stop fluted pilasters capped with scrolling foliate corbels.
English 19th century incorporating 17th century elements.
