8834. A large Neo Gothic stone chimneypiece in the manner of A.W.N. Pugin 1812-1852. Inset into the frieze are Minton glazed tiles also probably designed by Pugin, over a "slow" Gothic Arch with recessed mouldings and oak leaf carved spandrels. Provenance: Cheltenham ,Gloucestershire. English circa 1880. With restorations. Similar to our previous stock no 7257.
SCALE: Tall, quite wide.
