A French carved oak antique mantlepiece in the Renaissance manner. The moulded rectangular shelf above a carved frieze with corbels and acorns, the jambs with half fluted Corinthian columns decorated at the base with foliate carving on lions head plinth bases, the sides each with three 16th/17th century Romayne panels.
