The moulded shelf over a panelled frieze centered by a laurel wreath, and olive branches, signifying victory and peace, flanked by square floral paterae over fluted bell flower inlaid jambs. One circular gilt brass vent on the right side.NEAR PAIR TO 7519, French 19th century.
