11000 : A WELL CARVED PERIOD LOUIS XVI stone chimneypiece , the plain moulded integral shelf over a panelled frieze carved with Vitruvian scroll motif centered by small shell, and flanked by floral endblocks , supported on cabriole fluted jambs carved with acanthus leaf . French late 18th century.Image before restoration.
