9524 – An elegant large Italian Neo Classical chimneypiece carved in white statuary marble with inlaid Spanish Brocatelle flutes in the frieze and reeded ornamentation on the lower jambs , the ingrounds also in Brocatelle.The central tablet carved with Bellflower garlands and the endblocks with attractive delicately carved oval floral paterae. Italian mid 19th century.Shown with fire grate 8059.
