A COMPACT SMALLER SCALE GEORGIAN STATUARY AND CONNEMARA GREEN MARBLE CHIMNEYPIECE IN THE MANNER OF ADAM ,the breakfronted shelf with delicately carved Lambstongue decoration, over a dentilled under moulding , over a large central tablet the Urn with Serpent handles , oval ribboned Paterae either side , and slender urn endblocks supported on Ionic capitals over the Connemara green marble columns.
PROVENANCE : The Earl of Coventry's residence at Earls Croome Court, Earls Croome,Worcestershire. Circa 1850.
