A boldly carved Palladian chimneypiece in pure white marble the moulded shelf over a panelled frieze carved with the Greek Key motif, floral paterae endblocks, the central plaque with a fluted urn and olive branch decoration symbolising Peace and Plenty, supported on Ionic capitals over tapering pilasters, the panels topped by lions masks and descending ribbon tied fruit.
