A late 18th century Neo Classical Georgian fireplace in statuary and Spanish Brocatelle marble. The breakfronted shelf over a frieze with inlaid brocatelle marble fluting, interspersed by delicate circular fluted paterae in statuary marble, flanked by florally carved endblocks,on tapering fluted jambs with wide brocatelle ingrounds. Circa 1780. Known provenance.
