A small and compact Neo-Classical Chimneypiece in the style of Robert Adam. The moulded shelf over a simple frieze, the carved white marble centre tablet depicting a classical pastoral familial scene from Antiquity, with side panels in green Connemara marble, flanked by oval paterae endblocks, supported on inlaid tapering fluted jambs , under egg and dart carved capitals. Circa 1930.
