A richly carved pine mid Georgian style fireplace mantel. The plain moulded shelf over a central plaque carved with a woven reed basket of flowers, flanked by scrolled acanthus pattern on the side panels and leaf end brackets over lion heads holding descending rings on the jambs. English late 19th century.
