English Georgian carved Pine Fireplace Mantel

A CARVED PINE WOOD FIREPLACE IN THE LATE GEORGIAN MANNER, the breakfronted shelf carved with lambs tongue motif over egg and dart ovalo, the recessed frieze centered by a central plaque with crossed batons over floral garland, flanked by Bellflower swags and oval Paterae. All supported on fluted comlumns with scrolled Ionic capitals. Mid 20th century.
