A LARGE AND IMPRESSIVELY ORNATE FIRE GRATE IN THE LATE 19TH CENTURY BAROQUE REVIVAL MANNER. The arched pedimented cast iron back centered by a brass stylised sunflower, flanked on either side by large cast iron gadrooned urn finials. Polished serpentine fire bars are surrounded by the richest solid cast brass features of similar urn finials seated on angled scrolled supports, with serpent entwined floral decoration. English late 19th century.
