A richly carved pine mid Georgian style fireplace mantel the plain moulded shelf over a central plaque carved with a woven reed basket of flowers, flanked by scrolled acanthus on the side panels and leaf end brackets over lion heads holding descending rings on the jambs. English late 19th century.
