6400 - An unusually small and exquisite late Georgian chimneypiece , well proportioned and with a high definition carved urn with descending bellflowers on the central plaque flanked by two smaller on the endblocks...all three with inlaid gadrooned fluting... the shouldered tapering jambs and the frieze inlaid with Sienna marble scagliola flutes in the manner of Pietro Bossi , an Italian Stuccodore active in Dublin in the late 18th century. Irish ca 1790.
