A RICHLY CARVED FRENCH LOUIS XVI FIREPLACE RICHLY CARVED IN WHITE MARBLE, the breakfronted frieze decorated with repeating Vitruvian scrolling, centred by a tablet carved with olive branches supported on scrolled, fluted jambs under square floral end paterae. Mid 19th century.
